Chapter 1: The Missing  Pilots


It was a warm summer night when that airplane vanished. The sky was clear when that plane took off.  The pilots were deliverers  that would import and export items for Acmetropolis. One was a skinny  rooster, the other was a  big, built magpie. They were delivering a heavy crate around  200 pounds in their little green plane. It was their first and possibly their last delivery.
“So were exactly are we taking this box to again Kory,” the rooster questioned as the magpie was looking at the box and pressed the button the box lit. “Hmm well, mate, it says …Err Granics’ Island??” The rooster with a puzzled look. “Is that even a place, I mean have you heard of that?” He shook his head, “maybe it’s on the radar.” As they both  looked at the radar the typed in their location and found a small island on the top left hand side of the map. They looked at each other and nodded and took off for their destination.  Neither one of them talked for a hours till Kory with the urged asked,  “what time is it Trav, it seems we’ve been traveling foe hours.” Travis  also curious to know  pressed the button to his metal watch projecting the time 11:45 p.m. “EGAD, SIX HOURS!!!” Kory looked at the radar grinding his teeth. “This thing is busted.” They both stared at the radar thinking is this was a joke when Travis turned up and noticed something. “Kory look at this.” The sky was getting thick in fog and thicker. Travis grinded his teeth in fear. “We have to go back this radar isn’t working and we are basically lost, we have to turn back.”
“Aww come on mate, we made it this far, don’t be a such a chicken.”
“HEY!”
“All I am saying  i--------”
Their fight was interrupted by a small light about 15-20 feet away. “What the heck is that thing?” As the light got closer more lights came, They weren’t what they expected. And  Kory’s mouth dropped.
They ‘re villian’s and they--------.” The lights got  brighter for Travis or Kory to see. The fog later faded, and the plane vanished..
